Brazilian dancing nuns: A new spirituality
A Church turned toward this life, not toward Heaven. This is the message of the two nuns we see dancing on this page. They offer care for addicts, which is good; they assist the poor, which is good; they orient the youth to avoid vices, which is good. But they do not speak of another life, the eternal life, which is bad.
They belong to a branch of the Redemptorists – The Copious Redemption – but they do not live the path of the Cross, through which we received our Redemption... The Cross is forgotten; they only speak about love and joy.
It is the progressivist spirituality of the Conciliar Church: to adapt to the world and try to correct its defects. It makes Heaven look like Earth.
It is the opposite of the Catholic Church who preaches the Cross to attain Heaven, and, by so doing makes Earth similar to Heaven.
Their names? Sr. Marizele Cassiano, the beatboxer; Sr. Mariza de Paula, the dancer; Deacon Giovani Bastos, the tall dancer; Fr. Antonio Coelho, the heavy-set bearded one below. See also (here and here).
