A Military Mom Comments on
Weighing the Losses in Iraq

People Commmenting
Dear TIA,

Many thanks for Mr. Sheppard's timely article on weighing the losses in Iraq. It's about time someone put them in proper perspective.

My son is in the military and has seen two deployments there. He is going back for a third time. He is very proud of our country and the stance we have taken to protect it from terrorists. Many of his team mates have fallen in their quest to protect us but he continues to believe in what he and the military are doing in Iraq and is honored to be a part of it.

Shame on the Liberals who don't want us to be victorious and do all they can to denegrate the superlative service of our noble warriors, including the misguided propaganda they make on the casualties. Freedom has a price.

     A proud military mom
