Solar Eclipse, Gallicanism & Francis’ Book

Good to Know about Epoch Times

Dear TIA,

I saw that you are promoting a documentary made by Epoch Times.

Please note: Epoch Times conveniently admits that Communism is not a "doctrine" but a "devil" forged from "evil specter forged by hate, degeneracy, and other elemental forces of the universe". See here.

Epoch Times and NTD films (which stands for New Tang Dynasty) are owned and operated by Falun Gong, the Chinese Buddhist-gnostic cult that is against Communism. Its practitioners fled from persecution in China and established themselves in NYC. But it believes in uniting with the energy of the universe. Interestingly the symbol of the sect is a Swastika cross...

They also believed that people of mixed race do not get to have the fullness of heaven (see here).

Keep this in mind when reading or watching Epoch.

They are not free from compromise, but in my opinion they appear to be another controlled opposition to the CCP.

Solar Eclipse & Chastisement

Hello,

Would you be able to provide some commentary in an upcoming newsletter about the solar eclipse on April 8 and the connection to Our Lady of Akita and Nineveh or any other Catholic connections?

Thanks for your consideration,

     M.P.

TIA responds:

Hello M.P.,

Generically speaking, we pray Our Lady will fulfill her message of Fatima by sending a chastisement to convert mankind. As she implied in the Miracle of the Sun, the coming chastisement should be of cosmic proportions. We pray for it to come as soon as possible and we do our best to be prepared to it

Specifically, regarding this coming solar eclipse, we do not have a particular comment. We hope it will trigger the great chastisement predicted in Fatima, but we calmly accept if this will not be the will of God yet.

     Cordially,

Good Historian on Gallicanism

Dear Tradition in Action,

I have been studying the Church in France during the reign of Louis XIV, and realized that I have as of yet never encountered a verifiably orthodox history of the period, nor in particular of Gallicanism. Refutations of Jansenism are ready at hand (e.g., St. Alphonsus Liguori touches on the subject in his History of Heresies and their Refutation*), but I know of no trustworthy treatments of Gallicanism.

The challenges posed by the French hierarchy, which frequently opposed the Papacy, are of concern. Surely, then, there is a good, orthodox history of, or even a brief commentary on, these events, which to me at least, and probably to any good Catholic, are quite confusing. Do you have any recommendations?

*Pp. 365 ff. of Rev. John T. Mullock’s English translation, available on Google Books, here.

Cordially yours in the Sacred Heart,

     B.W.L.

TIA responds:

Dear B.W.L.,

We suggest you look at two points in History:
  1. The multi-secular dispute between the Guelphs and the Ghibellines, the firsts being favorable to the primacy of the Pope over the Emperor/King, and the seconds holding the opposite position.

In this fight, the two central episodes were the confrontation between St. Gregory VII and Emperor Henry IV in Canossa; and the confrontation of Boniface VIII with King Philip IV in Anagni. Gallicanism in France as well as Anglicanism in England were nothing but the continuations of the same multi-secular dispute restricted to those two countries.

  2. A good life of Pope Blessed Innocent XI, who was the great opponent of King Louis XIV on his Gallican pretensions, can give you a good quantity of facts to refute Gallicanism. Especially of interest for your study can be the episode of the so-called Gallican Liberties, in which the Bishops of France issued some decrees placing limits on the power of the Pope in that country. Innocent XI annulled those decrees, which greatly irritated Louis XIV, who had assembled the Bishops for that precise intent
On the topic of Gallicanism we know only of progressivist sources, which could not be recommended.

We wish you a successful research on the topic.

     Cordially,

Francis' Patronage of Homos

TIA,

Pope Francis’ latest book was just released on March 19. Regarding homosexuals here is what he states:

On this subject I have said on many occasions that it is right that these people who experience the gift of love should have the same legal protections as everyone else.

Jesus often met and spent time with people who lived on the margins of society, who lived in the existential peripheries, and that is what the Church should be doing today with members of the LGBTQ+ community, who are often marginalized within the Church: make them feel at home, especially those who have been baptized and are in every respect among God’s people.

And those who have not been baptized and would like to be, or who would like to be godfathers or godmothers: let them be welcomed, please; let them follow a careful pathway to personal discernment.

(Pope Francis, in Life: My Story Through History, Kindle edition, p. 219; underlining added.

Vaxed People Give Contaminated Blood

TIA,

Re: Japanese researchers warn about the risks of blood transfusions from Covid vaccinated people - The Expose

Here are some other sobering facts. If you need a blood transfusion, you do not want Covid vaccinated blood.

"The health injuries caused by genetic vaccination are already extremely serious, and it is high time that countries and relevant organizations take concrete steps together to identify the risks and to control and resolve them," reported a paper published by Japanese researchers.
