Jesuits Celebrate Diwali

Hello,

I thought you might find this of interest. A Diwali celebration at “Catholic/Jesuit” Fordham University as announced by the school’s lay president on Twitter/X

You’ll note the crosses on the wall. The celebration appears to be in one of the school’s chapels.

I’m an alumnus of the school from better days, and can’t believe the direction it has taken over the last twenty or so years.

     Kind regards,

     M.C.

Muslims & Jews Will Destroy Themselves

Dear TIA,

I read this recently, and it is interesting in view of what seems to be happening and will happen, without the intervention of Our Lady, which we know will happen.

A letter attributed to 33rd degree Freemason Albert Pike to Italian Revolutionary leader Giuseppe Mazzini from a century and a half ago, which accurately predicted World Wars I, II and III, and is circulated today warned this:

“The First World War must be brought about in order to permit the Illuminati to overthrow the power of the Czars in Russia and of making the country a fortress of atheistic Communism. The divergences caused by the “Agentur” (agents) of the Illuminati between the British and Germanic Empires will be used to foment this war. At the end of the war, Communism will be built and used in order to destroy the other governments and in order to weaken the religions.”

“The Second World War must be fomented by taking advantage of the differences between the Fascists and the political Zionists. This war must be brought about so that Nazism is destroyed and that the political Zionism be strong enough to institute a sovereign state of Israel in Palestine. During the Second World War, International Communism must become strong enough in order to balance Christendom, which would be then restrained and held in check until the time when we would need it for the final social cataclysm.”

“The Third World War must be fomented by taking advantage of the differences caused by the “Agentur” of the “Illuminati” between the political Zionists and the leaders of the Islamic World. The war must be conducted in such a way that Islam (the Moslem Arabic World) and political Zionism (the State of Israel) mutually destroy each other. Meanwhile the other nations, once more divided on this issue will be constrained to fight to the point of complete physical, moral, spiritual and economical exhaustion… We shall unleash the Nihilists and the atheists, and we shall provoke a formidable social cataclysm which in all its horror will show clearly to the nations the effect of absolute atheism, origin of savagery and of the most bloody turmoil.

“Then everywhere, citizens, obliged to defend themselves against the world minority of revolutionaries, will exterminate those destroyers of civilisation, and the multitude, disillusioned with Christianity, whose deistic spirits will from that moment be without compass or direction, anxious for an ideal, but without knowing where to render its adoration, will receive the true light through the universal manifestation of the pure doctrine of Lucifer, brought finally out in the public view. This manifestation will result from the general reactionary movement which will follow the destruction of Christianity and atheism, both conquered and exterminated at the same time.”

Tattoos & Devils of the Air in Colonial Mexico

Dear TIA,

Salve Maria!

While attempting to find out more historical facts about tattoos, I came across two papers in Spanish

One of them (here) gives some interesting facts, for instance, how in ancient times tattoos were used to brand criminals and slaves, but in the Christianized west, they were also associated with "criminals, thieves, prostitutes and prisoners", but also being heavily used by sailors and also soldiers. It states:

"The intellectuals of modern and industrial societies considered that these practices of tattooing and displaying tattoos fell into the schemes of pathological abnormalities, typical of marginalized [persons] and criminals, developing medical, criminological and psychiatric studies and visions, creating a pathology of tattooing and tattooed [persons]."

In other words, for a person to get a tattoo was enough to consider them as having a pathological disease.

What I also found interesting were the early cases of tattoos in colonial Mexico (New Spain). Here is one instance that involves the Holy Office, where a man got a tattoo as his sign of his pact with the devil, and how he had a devil reveal to him that there are devils in the air that were not condemned to Hell [that is, they were not sent to the fiery place in the center of the Earth, but, of course, they are still devils and condemned, and will be thrown into Hell at the Last Judgment, right?]. Here is the frightful case:

"The first reference that we can present to tattoos and magical practices is found in an inquisitorial process from 1598. In that year, there was a prosecution of the mestizo cowboy Juan Luis, who lived in Xochimilco (now Mexico City), accused of presenting himself as a sorcerer who manipulated the weather, banishing at will storms and hail, scaring the population with his rituals and charging for his services to landowners and ranchers, concerned about saving their crops. During his trial, which occurred in Mexico City, the inquisitorial judges discovered that Juan Luis had the Devil painted on his arm, because according to Juan Luis, he was as powerful as God, so when he found out, he made a pact so that the devil would take him out of prison, guard his cattle and accomplish many bad deeds and dishonesties.

"The investigations determined that the mestizo Juan Luis believed that the devil and other beings (whose names I do not reveal) existed and spent eternity in the air, among the clouds, finding "solace" and communicating with people like him, and that they were not in Hell and that they did not suffer any type of torment [this last part must be a lie, and the first part a deception, since at the Last Judgment they will be thrown into Hell]. During his rituals that he performed in the agricultural area of Tacubaya (Mexico City), he was denounced by several people for having the Devil painted on one arm and Christ on the other, when he performed his magical arts, when raising his arms, while blowing and recite prayers to divert the clouds and hail, being able to worship the first [the Devil] when seeing it and deny the second [Christ], in the same act.

"When Juan Luis was searched in the inquisitorial process, his body was searched. During the inspection, it was found that both arms and biceps had images of hearts pierced with arrows or bolts. Then, on the right forearm was the figure of a Jesus, while on the left forearm, there was a wound the size of a palm, where the image of the Devil as Tlacatecolotl should be (In Nahuatl, Human Owl, Necromancer, evil one). After several pressures, Juan Luis confessed that an old Indian named Clemente marked the figures on his arms and that the image of the Devil-Tlacatecolotl was a human figure with bird's nails on his feet and hands.

"To mark the figures on the arms, the Indian Clemente put the cowboy to sleep for two hours, during which time he made the incisions in the skin at the same time that Juan Luis had visions with a devil, which he called Mantelillos and who had two faces; the one of a dark man with a red beard and the other with enormous and protruding eyes, nose and mouth that boasted antlers like a deer. The marks on the skin sealed Juan Luis's pact with Mantelillos, who in exchange for his soul, revealed to him secrets and knowledge, helped him tame colts, made the cattle that the cowboy cared for to be round up by itself, freed him from prison, he got him hundreds of Indian women for love affairs and gave him the power to control water and hail so that it did not fall on crops or wet towns and people. He achieved control of hail and storm by extending his left arm towards the clouds, looking at both the drawing of Tlacatecolotl and the clouds and invoking the demon Mantelillos.

"Finally, Juan Luis confessed that out of fear of being arrested by the inquisitorial authority, a few days before his arrest, he tried to erase the drawing of Mantelillos Tlacatecolotl in Xochimilco (Mexico City). There, an old Otomi Indian applied a herbal compress to him that burned his skin and left it sore, causing the drawing to disappear. Given his confessions, Juan Luis was sentenced by the Holy Office to five years as a chained rower in the royal galleys."

I was not aware of this case and the condemnation by the Holy Office of this sorcerer, but I thought I would pass it along, so that readers can see just how frightful and serious tattoos are. Also, thank you very much for the article TIA posted on the matter. Hopefully this can help dissuade Catholics from getting them, and perhaps encourage them to find a way to remove the ones they already have.

     In Jesu et Maria,

     S.B.
