Never in a Church

TIA,

Re: Fashion show in Puerto Rico church

This should never be in a Church even if the Holy Sacrament is removed from the Tabernacle.

Some of the clothes were passable, though others were immoral.

Pope Francis' Consecration

TIA,

I received this in the mail. Could you please comment?

I cannot believe this means the end of the Revolution and coming of the Reign of Mary.

     Thanks.

     M.G.

Wow, Glory be to God!!!!
The pope announce the CONSECRATION of RUSSIA & UKRAINE!

Dear J.D

You have to read these 2 articles (here and here) where Pope Francis announces the Consecration of Russia & the Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

What we have been praying for many years! Let's pray it be done and with ALL the Bishops as Our Lady requested at Fatima.

We need to pass on this wonderful news to get many others to pray for this historical event to happen and contact their bishops to join with the pope's consecration to bring peace to this sinful and war torn world.

     God Bless,

     E.B.

Consecration of Russia

Dear TIA,

There has been a lot of discussion about Pope Francis’ consecration of Russia on March 25.

However, it seems that Pope Francis is not going to do the consecration the way Our Lady asked for.

Many traditionalist groups and individuals like the Fatima Center are encouraging us to pray that Pope Francis will do the consecration correctly and to ask our bishops to join him in the consecration.

Everything is so confused in this situation, so I would like to seek clarification. What are your thoughts? Will Pope Francis do the right consecration?

     God bless,

     T.P.

TIA responds:

Dear M.G. and T.P.,

We commend the hope that the Pope could make the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary in union with all the Bishops in the world, as Our Lady requested to Sister Lucy.

However, yesterday (March 16, 2022), L'Osservatore Romano, which is the daily organ of the Vatican, posted the schedule of Pope Francis' ceremony for the Consecration which he intends to make on March 25. This report does not confirm our hopes.

Here are the actual words of the Vatican newspaper:

"Friday March 25, during the Celebration of Penance that he will preside over at 5:00 pm in St. Peter's Basilica, Pope Francis will consecrate Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The same act, on the same day, will be made in Fatima by Cardinal Konrad Krajewski, the Papal Almoner, as a representative of the Pope."

This was declared yesterday afternoon by the Director of the Holy See Press Office Matteo Bruni.

Therefore, sadly there is no basis in reality to imagine that this Consecration of Russia will fulfill the requirements of Our Lady.

Certainly, it will be a Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary; however, it will not be made in union with all the Bishops of the world in their own Dioceses.

It will be one more pious act made by a Pope, the latest addition to the many other consecrations that also did not fulfill those requirements.

To wit, the various previous consecrations, as reported by the same news of L'Osservatore Romano, were the following:
  • Pius XII - October 31, 1942;
  • Pius XII - July 7, 1952;
  • Paul VI - November 21, 1964, during the Second Vatican Council in the presence of the Bishops of the entire world;
  • John Paul II - June 7, 1981;
  • John Paul II - May 13, 1982;
  • John Paul II - March 25, 1984.
Unfortunately, unless a miracle occurs, the announced Consecration by Pope Francis will not be the one all of us long and pray for.

     Cordially,

     TIA correspondence desk

Ukrainian Forces Destroy Russian Tank Convoy

Dear TIA,

Amidst the thick fog of disinformation where we have seen contradictory statements about this and that, in the Russia/Ukraine conflict, here is a drone video of a military ambush made by the Ukrainian forces, using anti-tanks NLAW missiles, against a large Russian tank convoy some days ago.

Since it is very hard to falsify this kind of footage, I pass it on to you and your readers for you to know how efficient these missiles are and how valorous the Ukrainian resistance is against the communist invader.

     Best regards,

     P.M.

Mexican Bishops Excommunicate Pro-Abortion Politicians

Hello TIA,

Something you and your readership should know.

J.A.

Mexican diocese to deny communion
to Catholic politicians who voted to legalize abortion

March 14, 2022- CNA - After the legislature of the Mexican state of Sinaloa voted to legalize abortion up to 13 weeks, the Diocese of Culiacán announced that Catholic politicians who voted in favor of the law will not be able to receive the Eucharist or be godparents.

In a statement, Father Miguel Ángel Soto Gaxiola, director of the Culiacán Commission for Life, Family, Youth and Laity, officially announced that Catholic lawmakers who voted in favor of abortion that the decision to deny them Communion is "the recognition of the objectively unworthy state of a person to receive the Body of Christ.”

The Culiacán Diocese is in the state of Sinaloa and includes the capital city of Culiacán. Sinaloa became the seventh Mexican state to decriminalize abortion.

In the letter addressed to Catholic politicians, Father Soto Gaxiola pointed out that "today we have many people scandalized by the public betrayal of the Church's teaching on faith and morals by those legislators who call themselves 'Catholic'."

He continued: "Indeed, the questioning of the faithful makes sense: How can a Catholic who openly promotes and is in favor of policies contrary to Life come to Mass and approach to take communion? “In the Magisterium of the Church, the value of life has always and at all times been defended from its conception until its natural death,” the statement said.

The document rejects the justification of those who say they "personally believe in the immorality of abortion" but favor "public policies" that include its legalization.

Citing the encyclical Evangelium vitae of St. Pope John Paul II, the statement said that "this is an erroneous theory, since 'no circumstance, no purpose, no law can make an act lawful that is intrinsically illicit, since it is contradictory to the Law of God, which is written in every human heart, known by reason itself and proclaimed by the Church."

The letter concludes: “Answering the question: Can a deputy or any person who professes to be a Catholic, while openly cooperating or legislating against life, receive Holy Communion? No. You cannot approach Sacramental Communion. Nor that person can be a godparent or companion of other people who want to receive other sacraments such as baptism.”
