Alabama against Roe v Wade
TIA,
Good news: the governor of Alabama signed into law a bill outlawing any abortion except in cases where the mother’s life is at risk. Read below.
I am also forwarding to you a nice cartoon on this issue.
It is a little of fresh air in our normally asphyxiating political result.

Alabama Governor Signs Bill Designed to Overturn Roe v. Wade
The governor of Alabama has signed a bill designed to lead to a new Supreme Court decision on Roe v. Wade, the landmark 1973 ruling that hamstrung states’ ability to restrict abortion.
The bill passed the state Senate on May 14 and was signed into law one day later by Republican Gov. Kay Ivey. It outlaws all abortions except in cases when the pregnancy puts the prospective mother’s life is at risk. While it doesn’t penalize a woman for undergoing an abortion, it makes it a felony to perform it, imposing penalties of 10 to 99 years in prison.

Pope Promotes Homosexuality
Hello TIA,
It is unbelievable! Francis is telling the youth of the Swiss Guard to accept diversity. It is an obvious way to force them to accept homosexuals and transgenders.
How low have we fallen… A Pope who instead of preaching that homosexuality is a sin that claims Heaven for vengeance, promotes it.
I don’t know what else is necessary to have a chastisement.
Read the news report below.

Shrinking Swiss Guards implored by pope to embrace diversity
Francis on Saturday thanked the guards for their “precious and generous service to the pope and the Church,” but this was no military address - instead, the pope devoted most of his brief remarks to giving these youthful Swiss men enjoying a sojourn in Rome a mini-lesson in diversity.
“Cultural, religious and social diversity is a human richness and not a threat,” the pope said, inviting the Swiss Guards to learn “to recognize in the other a brother and a companion, someone with whom to share serenely a patch of the road.”
“This will help you live in society with the right attitude,” Francis said, adding that doing so “is particularly important in a world experiencing, now more than ever, massive movements of peoples and persons seeking security and a dignified life.”

Opening the Doors of Heaven
Dear Marian T Horvat, Ph.D.,
We live in confusing times, and I thank you for clearing up many topics for me. I appreciate your clear explanations and logic within your articles. Your writings have provoked me to think deeply and have allowed me to have an accurate understanding of what our Catholic Church once taught and what I need to accomplish to be a traditional Catholic gentleman.
You are helping me to walk the narrow road and hopefully leading to eternal life in the beatific vision of Heaven.
Dr. Horvat, if through God's mercy, I enter into the Beatific Vision of Heaven, mostly because of your writings, how can my simple note saying "thank you" be enough?
We are talking about being in Heaven for all eternity, not holding a door for me and letting me pass through.
Through a quirk of fate, really God's intervention, I discovered your articles and I am grateful to you.
Dominus vobiscum - the Lord be with you,
R.T.

A PBS Subliminal Message?
Hi TIA,
Last night I took another look at the pro-homo PBS video May 13 segment of Arthur but this time I was looking for references to the Communist poet Pablo Neruda.
In the 15 minute segment, the name Neruda was flashed on the screen 13 times. Coincidence? Hardly.
Here is Neruda’s Ode to the Butcher Stalin –
Pablo Neruda's poem about Stalin After Stalin Died
To be men! That is the Stalinist law! . . .
We must learn from Stalin
his sincere intensity
his concrete clarity. . . .
Stalin is the noon,
the maturity of man and the peoples.
Stalinists, Let us bear this title with pride. . . .
Stalinist workers, clerks, women take care of this day!
The light has not vanished.
The fire has not disappeared,
There is only the growth of
Light, bread, fire and hope
In Stalin's invincible time! . . .
In recent years the dove,
Peace, the wandering persecuted rose,
Found herself on his shoulders
And Stalin, the giant,
Carried her at the heights of his forehead. . . .
A wave beats against the stones of the shore.
But Malenkov will continue his work.

As the days pass since the burning of Notre Dame roof in Paris, the projects multiply. Here is an article giving a list of what has been presented to the city of Paris as a replacement for the old roof and arrow.
I am sure that if the Conciliar Church would have the last say on the restoration – fortunately it does not – it would choose either the swimming pool or the ecological wood.
