Progressivist SSPX & Is Taiwan Next?

Leo Follows Francis on China

Dear TIA,

Thank you for your article on Pope Leo and China. Seems he is making his path very clear now, that is, the path of Francis that he will adopt for his papacy also.

As you can read here, yesterday Hong Kong bishop Stephen Chow Sau-yan revealed that Pope Leo XIV publicly stated that he will follow in Francis’ footsteps in being subservient to the Chinese authorities regarding the Catholic Church in China.

According to the article, the Pope's priority is to continue good and respectful dialogue with China and to respect the “differing perspectives on the mainland church.” Mind you, as you pointed out, that mainland Church is under the supervision of the Communist government and persecutes the Underground Church and any and all dissenters.

Another bad sign of the direction our American Pope is taking.

Lesbian Anglican Priestess

Dear TIA,

I agree with your comments on the horror of the concelebration of Bishop Raul Vera of Saltillo, Mexico, with an Anglican priestess. However, I see that you did not know the fact that she is also a lesbian human, “married” to another woman, which increases the gravity of the blasphemy.

To confirm these assertions please read this news report.

     Keep up the good work.

SSPX: Merging… Merging…

Greetings!

To the extent that Michelangelo's Pieta out of marble is a masterpiece...

I find the following to be a masterpiece in words.

It opened my eyes to so much, and for the way it lays everything out historically, it deserves, in my opinion, to be widely shared. I sincerely and deeply hope you will take the time to read it. Especially, do not skip the political analysis provided in the podcast video by the Catholic Esquire gentleman about the 100 Days.

There is much here to think on, particularly the words of Archbishop Lefebvre, dating from the 1980s. How well I remember those times.

God bless you!!!

     In Maria,

     E.Z, Ph.D.

The SSPX Goes to Modernist Rome: The Ecumenical Zoo

Stephen Kokx

Is there a side chapel for Tradition in the Conciliar Church?

Big news in Traddie-land: The Society of St. Pius X (SSPX) was allowed to role play as the FSSP this week.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, the Society held a pilgrimage in Rome where they processed through the “Holy Door” at St. John Lateran while offering a High Mass nearby. One wonders if they cursed themselves by walking through it.

SSPX 1

Pro-SSPX influencer Nicholas Cavazos was ecstatic that Modernist usurper Leo approved the event.

“We are so back” he gleefully declared while praising Leo’s generosity.

Apparently being “back” means women running the Vatican, priestly blessings for homosexuals, and Latin Masses being canceled in Detroit and Charlotte, North Carolina.

The Catholic Esquire released a video Thursday summarizing Leo’s first 100 days. He kindly directed his viewers to read our own summary of what has been taking place in Rome. Click here to watch our take on the pilgrimage.

Many Trads seem to think this pilgrimage is a good and great thing. It shows the SSPX is “in communion” with the Church. This is the “most Catholic thing to happen in Rome in a long time,” Kennedy Hall has commented.

We think Chris Jackson has the better take:

“This is not a victory for Tradition, but an invitation to join the circus. In exchange for silence on Leo’s doctrinal betrayals, the SSPX gets a spot in the program; alongside the very movements it once condemned as incompatible with the Catholic faith. Inclusion is the price of admission; compromise is the cost of staying.”

Is Taiwan Next?

Dear TIA,

As we all are looking at the news from the Russia-Ukraine war, the Israel genocide in Gaza, and Trump’s daily new surprise, we are not noticing that Communism is preparing to swallow Taiwan.

Indeed, China and Russia are reaching agreements to take over Taiwan as you can read in the news report I am sending to you.

I hope our military is not sleeping and will prevent this from happening.

China, Russia collaborating on plans for airborne invasion of Taiwan

Bill Gertz - The Washington Times - Wednesday, August 20, 2025

NEWS AND ANALYSIS:

A European hacker group obtained documents that reveal that China is working with Moscow to develop a Russian-origin automated command-and-control system for landing operations, such as a future invasion of Taiwan.

The hacker organization BlackMoon obtained internal Russian and Chinese government documents in July, revealing the joint Russian-Chinese project called “Sword 208.” The documents reveal work on the automated communications system for controlling airborne units for China’s People’s Liberation Army.

The main goal of the project is to prepare PLA paratroopers for an attack on Taiwan.

One document is an official letter on behalf of a “V. Zhurov,” director of the state-run exporter Rosoboronexport’s department of defense and space technologies, to a “V. Odrinskky,” acting director of the Research Institute of Communication and Control Systems, a military company.

The letter discusses plans for negotiations with Chinese officials by secure video conference on the project. Chinese officials involved in the talks included representatives of the Nanjing Institute of Electronics and the Chinese Defense Ministry.

A second document posted on X is a letter from Ge Xin, senior adviser to the director general of the state-run defense electronics company China Electronics Technology Group Corp. Ltd. to V. Zhurov.

The Pentagon lists CETC as a Chinese military company. It was blacklisted by the Commerce Department on national security grounds.

The second letter from CETC dated Oct. 5, 2021, discusses preparations for the project.

The latest documents were posted Tuesday and are part of a series of internal document disclosures made public by BlackMoon’s X account.

The European investigative journalism outlet The Insider reported last week that it had confirmed the documents’ authenticity and uncovered additional details of the military cooperation.

The documents, sent from Russia to Beijing, show China has purchased materials and cooperation for the command-and-control system for assault operations for 4.3 million euros, or $5.1 million.

The document shipments took place beginning 2020 until 2024.

The system is said to provide the PLA with the ability to manage and coordinate airborne operations through secure data transmission, tactical and operational information sharing, mission planning and target designation.
