Strike, Elections Overview & the Philippines

ALERT! Possible Truckers Strike

TIA,

My wife follows social media and alerted me to something last night.

According to what she showed me, truckers are vowing to shut down all transport starting November 29th.

I will be checking on this daily and will keep you all posted.

Consider something. Truckers often talk to each other via radio and such. They are livid over election theft. Apparently, they are saying that they will just stop all transport of goods, food, etc. I believe them. They are in a near-perfect position to do it.

This morning, wife and I are going to stock up on food and animal feed for our farm animals. We are going to gas up our trucks and spare gas cans and keep them full at every opportunity.

I would urge all of you to do the same.

Not to sound alarmist, but this could be the start of something huge. Europeans do this all the time when their governments get out of control. So, too, can we.

I can see the truckers' actions stimulating other groups and organizations to do the same. It could be especially effective in States like New York, California, Washington, Illinois, Virginia, Utah, etc. Bring Blue States to their knees.

This could even work for law enforcement in places like Portland, Oregon. Cops could have sickouts, claiming that they suspect they have the virus and are self-quarantining. They could go to work and start coughing until they are sent home and told to self-quarantine.

Railroad employees could do the same and shut down all rail traffic.

Airlines depend on daily fuel deliveries via truckers.

All commerce in America is based on a "just in time" mantra. No one has warehouses anymore, stocked with days' or weeks' supplies. Without daily deliveries, food stores would be empty in a week at most.

Without daily gasoline deliveries, people couldn't even get to work after a few days. Oops!

Without train-delivered coal, many, many power plants would go dark in a few days, necessitating brownouts and blackouts. Without electricity, there is no heat or light, just in time for Winter. Oops, again.

If Biden, along with Blue State mayors and governors want to shut everything down and keep people home, well, we can help.

Just some food for thought.

Putting Things in Perspective

TIA,

Passing it on…

T.H.

Below is an email forwarded to me by one of our members from Pam Bondi, who legally supported Trump to victory over the impeachment trial. This will give you amazing insight as to what we can and will expect - nothing more than victory. Keep standing and praying.

     Blessings and prayers,

     E.W.

From Pam Bondi

Ok in a nutshell. This is going to the Supreme Court, where they will rule that the election is invalid due to fraud or mistakes on a country wide scale.

It will go one of two ways:
  • Either they will rule that all the unconstitutional mail in ballots will be removed and the States ordered to recount without them;

  • Or they will simply rule the election is invalid due to mass voter fraud and at that point it will be sent to the Congress and Senate for a vote. This is where it gets good. The House/Congress votes on who the President will be. It has nothing to do with what party that has power. Every State gets one vote and 30 States are held by Republicans and 19 by Democrats.
They have to vote down party lines, they have no choice due to the 12th Amendment of the Constitution.

The Senate votes for the Vice President where a similar event will take place. This is The law.

This is why the Democrats are so mad at Nancy Pelosi. This will all happen in January.

The only way President Trump won’t be President is if he concedes the election and that will never happen

So stop watching the fake news and don’t let your heart be troubled and live your life knowing this will all work out. President Trump will remain President.

Another fun fact, they called Gore the President Elect for 30 days in 2000 until the Courts ruled against him and declared Bush the winner. And two people who were part of that decision was none other than new Supreme Court Justices, Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett. Why do you think the Democrats tried so hard to keep them from being confirmed.

Disney on Christmas at the Philippines

Dear Tradition in Action,

Disney UK just released its official Christmas advertisement for this year (see here), and at first glance it does a colorful presentation about how Filipino Catholics decorate their surroundings with the parol, or Christmas lantern, symbolizing the Star of Bethlehem.

It does a good job of capturing local traditions as well as those passed on by Spain, like seeking a blessing from elders by pressing their hands to one's forehead. Fast forward several decades, and the girl in 1940 is now a grandmother in the UK who passes on the tradition of making parols by hand to her granddaughter.

And when the latter sees that her lola's cherished Mickey Mouse stuffed toy, given to her during that Christmas of long ago, has one ear fallen off, instead of buying a new toy she lovingly repairs the old one and festoons their living room with parols, her grandmother getting flashbacks of her Christmases back home.

It's all wonderfully made, except for one thing. The church shown in the plaza square at the very beginning of the video has no cross surmounting it. The church appears again during the flashback scene, and what should be stained glass windows are instead plain and sterile, lacking color and showing no religious imagery. The façade is likewise bare.

The square is seemingly devoid of a Nativity manger. So is her granddaughter's living room, for that matter, because no traditional Filipino Catholic family would miss putting up a miniature manger scene. Even after the end of the Spanish colonial era, Filipinos retained our Christmas traditions.

So, despite all the colorful depictions of Filipino Catholic Christmas traditions, Disney is showing us a secularized Christmas, a Christmas without Christ.

     Very truly yours,

     R.A., Philippines
