When the Conciliar Church
Becomes a Public Enemy

Lyle J. Arnold, Jr.

As every citizen knows, when a crime is committed, the adjudication redounds to the public sector. If there the guilty person is found, an arrest is made by the police. In cases of a felony, a preliminary hearing is set, a complaint is sent to the District Attorney, and a trial ensues. In the past several years, legions of sexual assaults on minors were perpetrated by Catholic priests and Bishops. Very few of the accused, however, were tried in the public sector and subject to criminal proceedings; consequently very few priests went to prison.

 Enda Kenny

The reason for this great injustice: The superiors of the felonious priests covered up their crimes, which is also a crime. Unlike crimes against property, and unlike other crimes against a person, the sexual assault of a youth by a priest is in a class by itself. In state and federal prisons, the convicts who committed crimes against nature (in police and prison jargon called “L & L,” lewd and lascivious) are outcasts, and not infrequently become the prey of other convicts.

This hatred for crimes against nature is understandable. But when sexual crimes are perpetrated against innocent youths by priests, severely betraying the confidence many people placed in them, the culpability is magnified exponentially.

In late July of this year, Enda Kenny, the Prime Minister of Ireland, denounced the Holy See's cover up of priests who abuse chidlren, as exposed in the Cloyne Report.

Speaking before the Irish Parliament, Kenny said, "For the first time in Ireland, a report into child sexual-abuse exposes an attempt by the Holy See to frustrate an Inquiry in a sovereign, democratic republic … as little as three years ago, not three decades ago. ... The rape and torture of children were downplayed or ‘managed’ in order to uphold, instead, the primacy of the institution, its power, standing and ‘reputation.’

"Far from listening to evidence of humiliation and betrayal with St Benedict’s 'ear of the heart' ... the Vatican’s reaction was to parse and analyse it with the gimlet eye of a canon lawyer. This calculated, withering position is the polar opposite of the radicalism, humility and compassion upon which the Roman Church was founded." (1)

The words of the Prime Minister bring to mind this severe remonstration of Our Lady in La Salette: “The priests have become cesspools of impurity. ... The sins of those dedicated to God cry out towards Heaven and call for vengeance.”

Despite the truth of Kenny's words, orchestrated protests came from the public sector, harassing the Minister and not the ones who committed those abominable offenses.

The occasion for Kenny's reprimand was the recall of the Vatican's Nuncio to Ireland after accusations that:
  1. The Holy See sabotaged efforts by Catholic Bishops to report clerical sex abuse cases to the police;

  2. According to a July 13th report, the Irish Diocese of Cloyne failed to act on complaints against 19 priests from 1996 to 2009;

  3. The Vatican encouraged Bishops to ignore child-protection guidelines including the requirement that abuse claims be reported to civil authorities. (2)

An American public enemy

Since 2002 in Boston, when revelation after revelation of the sexual abuse of minors by priests came forth and the failure of Bishops to protect the youthful victims was made known to the public, the latter has become the policing agent of criminal priests.

In 2003, it was reported that the “Gavin Group of Boston,” made up largely of retired FBI Special Agents, was hired by the U.S. Bishops to insure that sexually abusive priests and the Hierarchy who covered their crimes were exposed and send to authority. All 195 Dioceses in the United States were being audited.

Thus, the public sector was hired as watchdog because of the shameless inertia in the religious sector. Collectively, the Church in the United States was proven to shield priests who sexually assaulted youth. In other words, the Conciliar Church was by definition not only criminally suspect, but feloniously accountable under the Penal Code of all 50 States.

The monetary cost for victims' recompense and legal fees has been in the billions, threatening the stability of parishes, schools and whole Dioceses. But the moral cost to the souls of the youngsters (many have committed suicide), and their relatives has a dimension that has no boundaries and cries to heaven for vengeance. The corruption in the Church is so immense that countless people lost the Faith.

The corruption comes from the top

It can be stated categorically that Pope Benedict XVI and his Secretary of State were primary causes of the cover-ups of the sexual abuses by the Hierarchy. Already in the year 2001 then Card. Joseph Ratzinger and his secretary, then Archbishop Tarcisio Bertone, signed a letter of instruction to the world's Bishops, titled De Delictis Gravioribus. It recommended the Prelates that all sexual abuse cases be referred directly to the CDF and be subject to the “pontifical secret,” a code of confidentiality that requires greater caution.

Cardinal Ratzinger - John Paul II

JPII and Card. Ratzinger, accomplices in the cover-up
Journalist Ron Fraser gives the details: “In his letter of May 18, 2001 sent to the Bishops, Ratzinger pointed to the Vatican's firm instruction, issued from Rome in 1962, that regarding any accusation brought against a priest involving solicitation, ‘that same matter should be pursued in a most secretive way. ... They are to be restrained by a perpetual silence. Each and everyone pertaining to the tribunal in any way ... is to observe the strictest secret, which is commonly regarded as a secret of the Holy Office' (Vatican Press, Instruction on the Manner of Proceeding in Cases of Solicitation, 1962).” (3)

One sees, therefore, that the evil comes from the top.

All this corruption involving two Popes and their more graduated auxiliaries leads us to the conclusion that the Conciliar Church has become a Public Enemy.

In a bygone era, the Church was holy and led society to its highest goal, as during the epoch of Christendom. Leo XIII wrote about her: “The influence of Christian wisdom and its divine virtue penetrated the laws, institutions and customs of the people, all categories and all relations of civil society.” (4)

Through the process of the Revolution, however, her situation has been reversed. Corruptio optimi pessima - Corruption of the best is the worst. Instead of sanctifying society the Progressivist Conciliar Church is spreading both the errors of the world and their own.

May Our Lady of Prompt Succor come quickly to purify the Church, so she might again spread her unction to the laws, institutions and customs of the peoples.
