As always, it was a pleasure to speak with you again.
Below is a photograph and the information about the ordination of Father Brown. Thank you for sharing this good news with your readers. The ordination of a priest is always a happy event and this one has even more significance. Not only do we have another priest to offer the traditional Latin Mass but this ordination shows the love, generosity and fortitude of a bishop willing to ordain in the traditional rite.
It is such encouraging news during a challenging year which has been filled with enough sadness. This also is a consolation in seeing that the true Faith is being passed on to the next generation. Hopefully, many young people will be inspired as well.
As I mentioned during our conversation, here is a link to
Our Bishops page.
We will pray for you and your apostolate and I will contact you as soon as we can schedule the Gregorian Mass for your friend.
May God bless you and may our Blessed Mother protect and guide you always.
We have a wonderful announcement to share with you today instead of our usual Sunday message.
Yesterday, November 21st, the feast of the Presentation of Our Lady in the Temple, Father Jared Scot Brown was ordained a priest in our chapel. The above photograph shows him after the ordination Mass and ceremony with our seminarians. Needless to say, it was a happy occasion for everyone.
This Sunday morning the announcement of his ordination was made to our people here in the chapel and afterwards each person received a blessing from our newly ordained priest. After all the first blessings Father Brown celebrated his first Mass. He will be offering a High Mass in thanksgiving on Sunday, December 13th, which is Gaudete Sunday.
During these unusual and challenging times it is a blessing and an encouragement for all of us when God grants great graces like this sacrament of Holy Orders. Despite everything we must always remember that our heavenly Father is watching over each of us and He extends to all and each His tender loving care.
If you would like to congratulate Father Brown and send him a gift for this happy day you may do so on our
website. Please be sure to specify that the donation is for Father Brown. Thank you for your generosity.
May God bless you and may our Blessed Mother continue to protect and guide all of us.
