Preventing Statues from Being Destroyed
TIA,
Below is a photo of police wearing riot gear to guard a statue of a Confederate soldier nicknamed Silent Sam on the campus of the University of North Carolina during a demonstration for its removal in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, U.S. August 22, 2017.
How sad is that, that we have to stand guard over US soldier's grave so it won't be violated. Double sad to see the petite young woman in the front pretending to be a combat guard...
What a strange and unnatural world it has become.
Love your site,
G.G.

Petain, an Admirer of Hitler
Dear TIA,
As many of us know, the leaders of SSPX – particularly Msgr. Lefebvre – are/were admirer of French Marshall Philippe Petain.
Taking advantage of his prestige as a famous military in World War I, Petain became a head of State in 1940 and signed an armistice with the invading Nazi forces in France, giving up a part of the country to Germany. He kept the other part under the control of the State of Vichy.
Vichy was in fact a dictatorship of Petain. It had cordial relations with Nazi Germany and enforced many of the rules then existing in Hitler’s Germany, Mussolini’s Italy and Franco’s Spain, such as anti-Semitic persecution.
After the liberation of France by the Allies and the rise of a new government in France headed by De Gaulle, Petain was court-martialed and sentenced to death for treason. His sentenced was commuted to life imprisonment.
Below, you have two photos of Petain shaking hands with Hitler in October 1940.
If SSPX is an admirer of Petain and Petain an admirer of Hitler, what should we conclude?
Keep up the good work.
In Christ Jesus,
E.J.

Signs in the Sun
Dear TIA,
If a chastisement is coming from space, akin to the signaling of the Star of Bethlehem but now as “God’s broom,” I am wondering if this is it?
Please see very unusual shots of a second source of light in the sky here and here.
We continue to pray for conversions and for the Consecration of Russia to her Immaculate Heart in a world gone very bad.
Ave Maria,
D.M.

Knights of Columbus
Hello,
I am a member of the Knights of Columbus. Recently, I have read some articles that would lead me to believe that perhaps I should reconsider my membership in this organization.
Do you have any thoughts about this? Is there a traditional Catholic alternative to the Knights of Columbus?
Thanks.
J.B.
TIA responds:
Hello J.B.
The Knights of Columbus are a dignified organization that wants to continue to operate inside the Conciliar Church as if they are still inside the Catholic Church. Most likely, it will take a while for them to realize that Progressivism – which controls the Conciliar Church – hates the Church Militant and sooner or later will get rid of any remnant of Chivalry.
As this process of destruction progresses, the Knights of Columbus, as well as the Knights of Malta and other Chivalric Orders in the Church, are being directed to fulfill the agenda of progressivist ecumenism and inter-religious dialogue.
It is under this light that we understand common initiatives that the Knights of Columbus have made with Freemasonry, such as the one reported here.
We do not know of an alternative chivalric order that may be free of the bad influences of Progressivism.
Cordially,

Can you verify whether or not Pope Pius Xll or the Vatican condemned the Atomic Bombing of the most Catholic cities, Hiroshima and Nagasaki?
I know that Msgr. Ronald Knox in his book, God and the Atom, said it was the wrong thing to do to a civilian population.
The Vatican condemned the Total War Theory during WW ll - the mass killing of civilians during a war.
Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us.
S.M.
TIA responds:
S.M.,
Let us distinguish two things in your question: First, if atomic war is permissible; second, if the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were turned to destroy Catholicism in Japan.
Regarding the first point, the doctrine of Pius XII on the legitimacy of using atomic weapon in a war, can be found here, a position later changed by the post-Vatican II progressivist utopia of peace.
Regarding the second point, we think that the choice of bombing the two main Catholic cities in Japan was a biased anti-Catholic choice. Whether this choice was made specifically by the Secret Forces or by leaders influenced by Protestantism is a question open to speculation. We admit these possibilities although we do not have indisputable proof that the bombardment sites were chosen by one or the other aforementioned sources.
Cordially,
