SSPX Website
TIA,
After reading the article concerning the phone conversation with the SSPX webmaster, I searched the U.S. District website and could not find the statement that was attributed to the SSPX. Could you direct me to what site that the writer was referencing?
A.T.
TIA responds:
A.T.,
We did not have access to all the documents included in the letter to which you refer. However, to answer your request, we made a quick search and verified that the mentioned quote by Dr. Lemont can be found here, and support for the website to Card. Dolan’s campaign in defense of human rights can be found here.
Cordially,

Supporting a Half Dead Communism
|
TIA,
I am sending you this short video that records the meeting Pope Benedict XVI had with Fidel Castro on his recent visit to Cuba.
Anyone who watches it can see that Fidel Castro is in advanced state of senility. He has to be helped by some men to take some steps, and he can hardly articulate some words.
Nonetheless, the news reports, including those of the Church, tried to give the impression that Castro is very lucid and intellectually sound. I believe that Castro’s health-state is a suitable image for Communism in Cuba, which is also dying.
The conclusion is that Benedict XVI chose to visit the tyrant to give prestige to a half dead man and to support Communism in Cuba. This happened at the very moment when there was growing dissatisfaction on the Isle with his regime. Had the Church given the dissenters a little support - instead of bolstering the half-dead tyrant - the dissenters could put Communism to rest and freed everyone.
It does not look so different than a papal betrayal of anti-Communism. Does it?

Growing Mormonism
|
TIA,
II know your readers are aware of the growth of Islamism. But do they realize the occult Mormonism is also on the rise. A new study shows that Mormonism is moving into more parts of the country than any other religious group, making it the fastest-growing "faith group" in more than half of U.S.states. The 2012 Religious Congregations and Membership Study, released May 1, 2012, shows that the mainline Protestants and Catholics who dominated the 20th century are literally losing ground to the rapid rise of Mormons and, increasingly, Muslims. [ENI summary online]
Mormons are not just another "Christian religion" as so many Catholics think. They are a cult and sect quite different from anything "Christian."
And although Mormons certainly consider themselves to be Christians, the Catholic Church does not consider them so, either sacramentally or theologically. The Church has ruled that Mormon baptism is not valid, which means that Mormons are not Christians by baptism.
Mormons believe in a plurality of gods and do not believe in Christ's divinity (as understood by Catholics). Mormon's follow Joseph Smith's teaching of "three Gods" instead of three Persons in one God.
These are a few differences. With Romney as a Republican candidate, perhaps someone on your staff could expose what is
Mormonism for Catholics to know
its danger.
Thanks,
G.H.
Oxymoron of the Highest Order
TIA,
Reference to Bishop receives Masonic honors
Inquiring Catholics in more than name want to know: "Why hasn't this apostate been formally excommunicated for the repeated grave scandal that he's caused, is causing, and will continue to cause, if not reined in, to what's left of the faithful!"
It doesn't get much worse than for a purported Catholic bishop to be a communist encouraging a union with Freemasonry!
Do his superiors in the Church not care about the state of his immortal soul, and the souls of those whom he has scandalized, as evinced by their refusal to give him the ultimate correction that is absolutely needed, tough medicine for the sake of the eternity of all concerned?
To be a "communist Catholic bishop" is an oxymoron of the highest order!

Bishop & Freemasons
TIA,
My goodness, this is really bad. Maybe this man is part of the group that the book AA1026 is talking about, who were planted in the Church and not really Catholic but trained to dismantle doctrine, dogma, faith and morals of people. We must pray for his soul.
In Our Lady,
P.J.
Masonic Lodge Honors Bishop
Are you serious? This is another abomination. Americanism at its best I guess.

TIA
The recent TIA article regarding post-Conciliar Catholicism at Christ the King in Pleasant Hill, California is a perfect illustration of what Sister Lucy of Fatima meant when she told Fr Fuentes: "The Devil wishes to take possession of consecrated souls. He tries to corrupt them in order to lull to sleep the souls of laypeople and thereby lead them to final impenitence..."
She also warned all of us in the same interview published in 1957: "Father, we should not wait for an appeal to the world to come from Rome on the part of the Holy Father to do penance. Nor should we wait for the call to penance to come from our bishops in our diocese, nor from the religious congregations. No! ... Now it is necessary for each one of us to begin to reform himself spiritually. Each person must not only save his own soul but also all the souls that God has placed on our path."

Dear Editors,
I thought it might interest you to follow up on the article by Lyle Arnold on Christ the King Parish.. I downloaded a recent bulletin from their website. The way in which Christ is described borders on blasphemous.

Once the Followers of Ignatius
TIA,
Recently the Jesuits of Loyola decided that of the dozens - if not hundreds of possible locations on the Lake Shore campus, that the chapel was the appropriate setting for "his holiness" the Dalai Lama to do his preaching before what was described as "the Tibetan Buddhist community."
The chapel was stripped of any vestige of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Blessed Sacrament was removed from the tabernacle, and a chair for the Dalai Lama was placed on the altar in front of the altar stone.. the Jesuits' blasphemy was complete.
