The Archbishop of New York lights a candle on a menorah

On December 11, 2009, Timothy Dolan, Archbishop of New York, is shown above lighting a candle on a menorah at the Jewish temple Emanu-El in New York City. The ceremony was to mark the beginning of Hanukkah, a Jewish feast that is being promoted to compete with Advent and Christmas. Once again we see a highly placed Prelate - this time the future Cardinal of New York - promoting a "feast" that aims at diminishing the role of Our Lord Jesus Christ as the Messiah.

Given the constant support of Benedict XVI and the conciliar Popes for Judaism, it is hard to avoid such consequences. When will Our Lord intervene? Let us pray for that.
