Catolicismo   May - June 1969

1969 - The Church goes to the Nightclub

Above, Spanish Bishop Horlando Arce Moya,
taking advantage of the aggiornamento [adaptation to the modern world] of Vatican II,
used to play at night clubs in the late '60s.

2000 - The Nightclub invades the Church

Below, Fr. Stan Fortuna plays a "Catholic rap" song
about chastity called "The Zipper Zone."
He is performing at the charismatic meeting "Celebrate Jesus 2000"
under the auspices of the Franciscan University of Steubenville.

After Vatican II we were told that the Church
would "bring the Christ to the world."
What actually happened is that
the world brought its decadent customs into the Catholic Church.
