Wolfgang Rothe (at left), vice rector of the Sankt Poelten seminary, is shown kissing an unidentified student. Rothe and seminary rector Fr. Ulrich Kuechl have both been accused of having homosexual relations with seminarians. Photos of seminarians and priests kissing one another and engaging in homosexual behavior were found at Austria's Sankt Poelten seminary by civil prosecutors. They also discovered thousands of pictures and numerous films depicting acts of pedophilia and bestiality. Bishop Kurt Krenn of the Sankt Poelten Diocese has dismissed the Profil report as "groundless," and called the above pictures nothing more than "harmless pranks" that "have nothing to do with homosexuality."
