Infuriated Atheist, Progressisivist & Anarchist

Atheist Bile

Just found (and read) your thoughts on the movie Evita while googling her name to look up something about her.

I love how you blast the movie on your Catholic high horse..... tell me.... should they have shown a few 12 year old alter boys (sic) being sodomized by a priest to make it “true to life” catholic ???

The Perons were socialists...... however they did bring Argentina into the 20th century.

Not that I’ve noticed the catholic church giving too much to the community as a whole......except maybe themselves.

And yes, I was raised catholic for years.... now identify as atheist. Or more commonly, recovering catholic!

You Must Die

I stumbled on your website.

I think it would be a blessing in the world if every one of you involved in this site died the most agonizing death possible.

While I would never advocate or incite or abet murder, which is of course illegal, I would not in the least object if you were not just murdered but slaughtered. However, if you die of bone cancer or some other hideously painful illness. that's fine too - just as long as you go to hell to roast there forever with Hitler, Himmler, Eichmann and others of your ilk.

You Are Rotten to the Core

You are thoroughly disgusting

so the torture implements used by the Inquisition were not personally authorized by 70 consecutive popes?

The Catholic Church was not systematically involved in torture and repression for hundreds of years? It was not directly involved in the subjugation, torture and killings that occurred in the horrific decimation of Central and South America or the far east by Spanish armies??

It did not stand idly by during the Holocaust? It did not help Nazi war criminals escape to South America? It has not been a haven for pedophiles for centuries? It is not wracked with sexual abuse scandals? It's diabolical attitude to abortion and birth-control has not caused untold misery?

GROW UP and WAKE UP!!!

If the CC was not a religious organization. it would long ago have become a proscribed organization. It would be illegal to be a member of it and it would be treated as the disgusting haven of terror, criminal activity and sexual abuse that it is, there is no question about that.

It begs the question as to what the hell use is the CC at all ?

There is a simple answer - ABSOLUTELY NO USE WHATSOEVER and never has been.

I am absolutely sick to death of listening to religious apologists defend the indefensible.

You are thick, stupid, illogical and rotten to the core.

Re: Everyone Should Know these Statistics

Dr. Joseph should sue his medical school to get his money back.

It's people like you that spurn the murder of homosexuals. You are pathetic.

Feminist Mockery

Hello!

I stumbled across your website while googling "masculine clothing for women." I'm on the hunt for a professional dress shirt that will fit my frame. Let's be honest, the shirts at Banana Republic are not cut for women with d-cups. Plus I work in a male-dominated and often misogynistic industry. I want to be taken seriously, and not like some sex kitten whose shirt is about to pop a button. You know what I mean?

I really can't wait until our society achieves true equality -- sexual, gender, racial, and religious. Imagine a world where women are not judged on their sexuality, and the desire to wear a tailored dress shirt isn't heralded as the fall of civilization.

Until then... recommendations on store and clothing websites would be super helpful!

Oh, I'm also looking for a good pair of everyday/casual/athletic shoes. Not sneakers, but something that offers the same sort of arch support. My flippy-flops are aggravating my runners' knee.

Thanks!

Repugnant & Sinful

Hello.

I was somewhat disturbed to read recently of your interpretation of Pope Francis kissing the handicapped boy and the video link you provided. Although Pope Francis does not appear to be the traditional pope we have yearned for, I can't help but feel uncomfortable with the way you have been quick to suggest that he is a possible paedophile.

It seems repugnant and betrays an almost over-zealous tendency on your part to seek any opportunity to detract from the character of this pope. At best, it is unhelpful and at worst, uncharitable, and quite possibly sinful to make such references with so little information at hand.

Especially when you publish in such a public domain. I have no doubt that you will be able to justify your point of view but I think it would be better if you stuck to analyzing the Pope's more overt misdemeanors and let the readers make up their own minds. I do enjoy many of your articles in spite of this and will continue to follow your web page. Kind regards,

     P.S.

Nigro in Drugs

In your article: Levada: ‘Homosexuality Is Different from Pedophilia’ – Refutation you rely on the writings of a Dr. Samuel Nigro to bolster your argument. You should know that Dr. Nigro was recently indicted on drug trafficking charges. Relying on such characters weakens your argument.

Sincerely,

Biblical Anarchist

TIA,

You wrote: "As the Roman Catholic Church, by God’s design, is a hierarchical Church, the primary responsibility for addressing and correcting the current sad state of affairs falls primarily on the heads and shoulders of the Pope and the bishops he selects."

I am not a catholic or a protestant. I do not identify with any particular christian sect.

I read in the 'book' that when I believed on Jesus, Holy Spirit baptized me into the body of Christ.

For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we were all made to drink of one Spirit. (1 Corinthians 12:13 NASB)
  • There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all. (Ephesians 4:4-6 NASB)

  • But now God has placed the members, each one of them, in the body, just as He desired. If they were all one member, where would the body be? But now there are many members, but one body. (1 Corinthians 12:18-20 NASB) …

  • But God has so composed the body, giving more abundant honor to that member which lacked, so that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another.

Now you are Christ's body, and individually members of it. And God has appointed in the ekklesia, first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, various kinds of tongues. All are not apostles, are they? All are not prophets, are they? All are not teachers, are they? All are not workers of miracles, are they? All do not have gifts of healings, do they? All do not speak with tongues, do they? All do not interpret, do they? But earnestly desire the greater gifts. And I show you a still more excellent way. (1 Corinthians 12:24-31 NASB)

  • And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.

As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming; but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love. (Ephesians 4:11-16 NASB)
Those passages indicate that it is God who is assembling the body of Christ according to his good pleasure and the five fold is given as a 'foundation' to support and serve the members of the body of Christ.

The kingdom of God is an upside down government. Therefore it is not a 'hierarchy', but a 'lowerarchy' of kings and priests who serve one another in the love of Christ.

The catholic/protestant religion is a 'hierarchy' but it is the fabrication of men, not of God.

     Blessings
