Hate Mail Fun
People Commenting
Dear TIA,

I really enjoy reading the Hate Mail section on your site! Although I get a chuckle every time I read them - I am also sad for those who do not understand The One, True, Faith. They always show how little or no faith they possess, through both the lack of Traditional Catholic formation and the lack of Christian Charity.

You are right: no answer is necessary!

Legal Quarrel over Sermons
People Commenting
Dear TIA,

As you may know, Bishop Fellay and Fr. Schmidberger filed a lawsuit in Belgium against Fr. Schoonbroodt, who posted on his website the collection of sermons of Archbishop Lefebvre. Fr. Schoonbroodt had received from the Lefebvre family permission to disseminate those documents. Bishop Fellay and Fr. Schmidberger allege SSPX has full civil rights over the intellectual inheritance of the late Prelate.

On this topic, Fr. Basilio Meramo, who was expelled from the SSPX for his non-acceptance of its merge with the progressivist Rome, recently made the statements that I copied below. I hope you can post this news to inform your readers.

     Thank you,

     T.R.

“I wonder what may be the right of property that Bishop Fellay arrogantly pretends to exclusively have over the sermons of Archbishop Lefebvre. Neither he nor SSPX is his biological heir. If the Superior General or anyone else in SSPX possesses a testament in his favor, he has to show it. Even if such were the case, his prerogatives exist only in order to favor the propagation and dissemination of the Archbishop's testimony, and not to censure and forbid it, and allow it to fall into oblivion.

“The sermons and everything else that Archbishop Lefebvre said are the patrimony of the Church and its only proprietor is Jesus Christ.

“To prevent the faithful from having access to Archbishop Lefebvre’s denunciations demonstrates how the Superiors responsible for this censure are compromised with the Vatican Freemasonry.“

Debutant Ball
People Commenting
Hello!!

I found your article about the Debutante Ball in Laredo, and was wondering how to get the president's information? I am interested in possibly attending one of their balls and would love to hear information about their process, as I am involved in debutante balls here in Dallas.

Any contact information on the ball would be greatly appreciated!!

     Regards,

     J.F.

Red Wojtyla in Spanish
People Commenting
Dear TIA,

I have been following your site for about a year. I have found it very helpful.

Although I was brought up aware of the problems in the Church, up until now I haven't really paid detailed attention. It hasn't really been necessary since I have always been faithful to Tradition. However, due to an intended change in my state of life, I recently have taken up these topics so that I can be a vigilant father.

Unfortunately I really have need to much of your information in Spanish, especially that concerning John Paul II. Can you recommend sources for good analyses of his works and poor example in Spanish?

I am especially interested a book on his Communist tendencies in Spanish since that is the default position taken by those who love him when all else is shown to be false.

     Sincerely,

     P.C.

TIA responds:

Dear P.C.,

Thank you for your perseverance in following our work. We are glad it has been useful to you.

Unfortunately, we do not have any regular correspondent in Spanish who posts a website with articles that fit your needs.

We have no problem in allowing the material of our website to be translated to Spanish. At this moment, however, we neither have time to take the initiative of this translation nor to edit a Spanish translation of our articles/documents. So, anyone who desires to do this task has to be accountable for both the entire work of translation to Spanish and for laying out it on a website under his responsibility. If you have the time to do this, you can count with our moral support.

Regarding John Paul II and Communism, we would suggest you read our booklet Curious Affinities between the Thinking of John Paul II and Marxism, available in English here.

     Cordially,

Are You Sede-Vacantist?
People Commenting
Dear Mr. Guimaraes,

I have really enjoyed reading your articles and seeing your information. As a former anti-Catholic protestant pastor I think it is important to address scandal (like Assisi) rather than ignore or explain it away like the neo-cons do. I was converted in spite of Assisi not because of it. In fact Assisi I and II were proof positive to me that the Church was the Whore of Babylon in my rejection of Catholicism.

I have simple question for you. And I hope you do not mind giving me a direct answer. Are you a sedevacantist?

The reason I ask is that I have one friend who tells me you are not. And another who tells me you are. I like to go to the horse's mouth. So there it is.

     God bless,

     C.D.

The Editor responds:

Dear Mr. C.D.,

Thank you for your amiable words about my articles.

To answer you straightforwardly and simply as you request, I am not sede-vacantist.

You may find my position of resistance against the progressivist religious authority in the book We Resist You to the Face, and my objections to sede-vacantism in the booklet Resistance versus Sede-Vacantism. On the TIA website I identify my position with the arguments against sede-vacantism at these links (1, 2, 3, 4, 5).
