Prince Felipe of Spain holding an umbrella over Princess Letizia

Point de Vue, March 15, 2006

Do protect the ladies from the rain
A true gentleman will protect ladies of his acquaintance from the rain, even at the risk of exposing himself to hearty and unexpected showers. Yes, even while wearing an expensive, dry-clean-only suit! This is what Prince Felipe of Spain is doing in this picture, saving his wife, the Princess Letizia, from a sudden downpour.

It is a rule of courtesy that has been quite forgotten in our days, but should be reintroduced if we wish to be considered civilized
and if we want to build a Catholic society.
